20th Century Soviet Music (continued) [timeline], undated
Notebook originally in an overstuffed three ring binder with two sections. The second section was arranged alphabetically by composer name. The original order has been maintained with each document placed in a folder. The folder titles reflect the title or content of each document. Some loose notes were inserted in between pages or in the front or back of the notebook. They have been foldered and added in a separate section.

The Cage Correspondence collection is comprised of correspondence and ephemera including letters, cards, clippings, catalogs, photographs, negatives, cassette tapes, music scores, and art. Early materials focus on family correspondence and newspaper clippings and are interspersed with Cage's own notes and manuscripts. Later correspondence is enhanced through Cage's use of "Note-o-Grams" which provides carbon copies of his sent messages.
